Your data, in plain English.

Who we are
Golf Instincts is run by Gavin, based in the UK. Questions about your data, or to unsubscribe or delete it: email hello@golfinstincts.com.
What we collect
- Quiz answers. Which option you picked for each question, your result, the date, the country your connection comes from, and a random ID stored in your browser so we can tell retakes apart. We don't collect your name with quiz answers unless you choose to join the list.
- Email signups. Your email, and optionally your first name, handicap and quiz result, when you tick the box and join the list.
Why
- To show your result and improve the assessment. Anonymous answer patterns help us make the questions more accurate.
- To email you about Golf Instincts, only if you've ticked the box. That's our legal basis: your consent.
Where it's kept
On Cloudflare's servers, which host this website. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. If we start using an email service to send our emails, your email address will be stored there too, and we'll update this page.
How long
Signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Quiz answers are kept to improve the assessment; they aren't linked to you unless you joined the list.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent at any time. Every email will include an unsubscribe link. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
